Over 13 years of chiropractic practice, I've seen a lot of patients who suffer from migraines. They can be incredibly difficult to get rid of with conventional medical treatments, which basically amount to medications to either prevent them from occurring or reducing them when they appear. Both of these options are only covering up the symptom of pain, instead of actually getting to the root of the problem. Unfortunately, these medications have such a long list of side effects it would take me a full page to list them.

I grew up on a horse farm in Cokato Minnesota. I have always been an active person who loves hiking and exploring places away from the beaten path.
In high school, I was a runner and a swimmer. While attending college at St. John’s University I fell in love with the Japanese martial art of Aikido. I continue to train several times a week in Elk River at Minnesota Aikishuren Dojo.
When I'm not doing Aikido, I enjoy hiking, getting together with friends for game nights or settling in with a good book.
I graduated from Dassel Cokato High School in 2001 and continued on to St. John’s University where I majored in Environmental Studies. In 2006 I married my wife Melissa, who I have dated since high school. After college, I got a job managing restored prairies, but I found that the work didn’t suit me so I went on to drive a school bus while I figured out what I wanted to do with myself.
After some soul searching and talking to friends who practice bodywork, I enrolled in Sr. Rosalind Gefre’s School of massage in Sauk Rapids. After I completed my course work I joined the health care team at Hillside Chiropractic in the fall of 2009. I can tell I finally found what I was looking for as I really enjoy helping people feel better and getting to know them personally too.
My massage technique focuses on deep tissue muscular therapy, myofascial release and sports massage. I am committed to natural health care and firm in my belief that regular massage is an important part of maintaining a healthy body and a wonderful compliment to chiropractic care.
